  5. We are pleased that you have decided to take a look at TommySoftware
  6. CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1. As you will see, it is well worthwhile.

  8. TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 is a full-featured technical illustration and
  9. graphics system for Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51. It offers, along with
  10. many construction possibilities, a particularly user-friendly graphical user
  11. interface which complies with all Windows standards.

  13. Installation
  14.  
  15. The installation process is different depending on the way you received
  16. TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1. Please make sure to follow all steps
  17. carefully!

  19. 1. If you received TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1 on disk:
  20.  
  21. On these disks you can find TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1 in packed
  22. form. In order to install TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1, start the
  23. Windows program INSTALL.EXE on the first disk.

  25. 2. If you downloaded TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1 from a BBS:
  26.  
  27. As you are reading this text, you have succeeded in unpacking the file
  28. TSCD401E.ZIP. This archive contains all files you require. You should find
  29. at least the following files: INSTALL.EXE, INSTALL.WRI and some numbered
  30. files (about 60 files). In order to install TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4, start
  31. the Windows program INSTALL.EXE now.

  33. After the installation, you may delete the files stated above. But before,
  34. please give a copy of the archives to all your friends! Please make sure,
  35. however, that you give them all the installation files, and not a copy of
  36. the installed program. Without a proper installation, the program may not
  37. work properly on their computer.

  39. Undo Installation
  40.  
  41. During installation of TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4, some entries are made to
  42. the reigstry database. They are removed automatically, if TommySoftware«
  43. CAD/DRAW 4 is deinstalled using the Undo Installation command from the
  44. installation program..

  46. System Requirements
  47.  
  48. TommySoftware« CAD/DRAW 4 Level 1 requires at least the following:
  49.     - Intel 80386 Processor
  50.     - Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51 or higher
  51.     - 8 MB RAM available to Windows (not including swap file)
  52.         - Graphics card and monitor capable of displaying 640x480 pixels and
  53.         16 colors or gray levels.
  54.     - Mouse or other pointing device.

  56. For working with complex drawings and/or imported bitmap graphics, we
  57. recommend the following:
  58.     - Intel 80486DX Processor
  59.     - Microsoft Windows NT 3.51
  60.     - 16 MB RAM available to Windows (plus a permanent swap file of
  61.         about the same size)
  62.         - Accelerated graphics card and monitor capable of displaying
  63.         1024x768 pixels and 256 colors.
